Hall Residence

at St Mary's Priory

St Mary’s Priory has a Hall Residence for college students or young adults working in the city, who want to live in a catholic community where they can share their faith. St Mary’s have a separate womens and mens floor. The chaplain to the Hall Residence Fr Eoin Casey OP resides on the mens floor.

Layout

Each floor consists of its own communal living. Each floor has a kitchen, sitting room, study room, and shower/toilet facilities.

Social

The ground floor is where the residents of St Mary’s gather for activities, movie nights and socials, and many sing songs around the pitfire on summer evenings. There is a big common room with a projector and electric piano.

Spiritual

The highlight of the Hall Residence is that there is a chapel on the ground floor where the residents have access to all year round. There is private mass for the residents, and daily rosary in the evenings.

Location

St Mary’s is in the heart of the city where you have access to all the amenities and only a short walk to UCC.

As part of living in the Hall Residence, the young adults volunteer their time to the different ministries that are going on in St Mary’s Priory.
